Out of brown sugar!!!

The other day I really, and I mean REALLY wanted to make cookies! I was all set and started in on the batter and THEN saw I was out of brown sugar,....GASP! I then remembered hearing so many times that brown sugar is just granulated (white) sugar with molasses. So I looked up the ration and it was super duper easy to whip up my own batch of brown sugar



For every cup of brown sugar you want to make simple add 1 TBS. of molasses for light brown sugar or 2 TBS. of molasses for dark brown sugar. Mix until combined with a hand mixer in a bowl and that's it=)!
So Easy!
